Everett Andrews serves the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM), as Canadian Territorial Vice-President, for the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, and is an active member of the Calgary Magic Circle, Ring 66, as well serving on its executive board.

Everett joined IBM in 1956 while he was attending his first year at the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, but actually started his magical journey prior to that while he was still in elementary school in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, performing throughout his high school years at numerous banquets, concerts and private parties.

By the time he was in high school, he was performing magic shows throughout the city and province at concerts, banquets, private parties, annual suppers and then fundraisers for the St. Andrews Society, Boys Pipe Band of which he was a member. But there was a desire to learn even more, yet no place to go where Everett could gain knowledge in the performing art and science of magic, and his magical knowledge was limited,

until through a friend at college he learned of the IBM and RING 66. There he met others with a similar interest to his own, and he was soon widening his understanding of the art and of the performance. Throughout his four years of college, he continued to pursue his magical hobby and learn from the others who shared their insights with him.

Everett was very active in college sports and the drama club. Yet, he still found time to produce and direct the college annual banquet entertainment for three of the four years. AS well as the 'Ev Andrews Show' (a student and staff variety show), which played to the college three to four times a year and toured the local childrens' and veterans' hospitals.

College behind him and married to Shirlee, Everett worked as a commercial artist in the advertising industry, while still entertaining semi-professionally. Shirlee joined the show until children arrived, and then they were introduced to the show at an early age. Soon the entire family, were on stage.

Everett owns and operates 'Magic X Change', a retail supply for magicians, with new and used stage props, and now travels Western Canada with Shirlee, performing their own special brand of magical entertainment.
