Fees depend on the type of performance requested, the type of venue, equipment needed for the shows, additional staff and other factors may apply. Fees will be in line with what other professionals are charging. Price and value are the same thing. Remember a bargain is not what you pay ... it is what you RECIEVE!

A lot of variety artists working today are only children's entertainers and that is what they primarily do, but if you want more sophisticated entertainment, search for acts that also provide adult (not X rated) entertainment, and get references.

Here in Alberta, credited performers belong to groups such as; The Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Arts Touring Alliance, Alberta Community Development, The International Brotherhood of Magicians, and The Calgary Magic Circle. Look for their logos on advertising materials.
